ZF
ZF is very prominent in the Ranger vehicle, supplying the driveline equipment with our AS Tronic transmission and the steering application with our Servocom system.
We have worked closely with UE during design and build and now have a good working relationship with them, the steering system had to be modified from the original version that was chosen for this application due to the ratio changes needed, although this caused some delays, we have worked hard to ensure that delivery deadlines were met. ZF Services UK will commission this system during trials in August 2010.
In the AS Tronic, UE have a transmission that is both durable and flexible as required for this kind of application, there will be a presence from ZF Friedrichshafen ST department personnel to formally commission the transmission in August 2010.
