Environmental Policy Statement

Universal Engineering recognises that it has a duty of care to protect and safeguard the environment.

In order to meet this duty Universal Engineering will seek to:

• Reduce, where practicable, the environmental effect of our activities to minimise the potential for pollution, minimise waste production and ensure the efficient use of resources;
• Comply with all current environmental legislation and seek to meet future legislative provisions;
• Promote energy efficiency;
• Integrate environmental issues into all aspects of decision making processes within the company;
• Address environmental issues within normal operating procedures;
• Develop and implement emergency response procedures to minimise the environmental impact of incidents;
• Promote environmental awareness and responsibility among employees and others.
• Ensure continuous improvement in environmental performance.

It will be the responsibility of Universal Engineering Ltd. to ensure that all business activities are undertaken in such a way as to minimise the potential environmental impact of those activities.
